LOVE IT–I am in a time warp. This is a wonderful old song. One of our members sang it during our Memorial Service a few years ago. I believe this was a ‘Northern” song. We shared one anothers.
This was also on the Centennial Album by Richard Bales:The Union.” We had an old music book at home when I was a child, and as I was studying piano I pored over all of those old songs from the WAR, Slowly picking our the melody. Thanks for this one.
